Our story

The journey of Agnihotra Switzerland began with a shared passion for life and all living systems. Although we have different backgrounds, we are united by our deep respect for this powerful practice. Because we believe that ancient knowledge is one of the keys to positive change, we see it as our mission to spread it.

It all began on a farm in the canton of Valais, where we encountered six zebus (Indian cows) destined for slaughter. We couldn’t bear the thought of them being killed and knew we had to save them. We decided to buy them from the farmer’s wife and ensure their safety and well-being for the rest of their lives.

This experience ignited our passion to protect these special animals and share the benefits of Agnihotra, a time-honored Vedic practice that uses cow dung as an essential ingredient.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower you with Agnihotra, a simple yet effective tool for positive change.

Our goals:

  • Spread awareness: We want everyone to know about the incredible benefits of Agnihotra for nature, body, mind and soul.
  • Teaching Agnihotra: We provide accessible learning opportunities to help as many people as possible experience the transformative potential of Agnihotra.
  • Connecting the community: Our website about the practice of Agnihotra is a platform for people who want to connect, share their experiences, and learn from each other.
  • Expanding understanding: We strive to promote research, discussion, and study on Agnihotra to deepen our collective knowledge.

Our vision

Our vision is to establish our own Homa Farm. This site will be a sanctuary for our zebus, where they are respected and valued, can roam freely, and live in harmony. It will also be a center for chemical-free agriculture, demonstrating the incredible benefits of cow dung-based crop production.

Our vision is to go beyond working on a farm to create a supportive atmosphere where people can come together, learn, and genuinely care about each other’s growth and well-being.

We envision a place where Agnihotra is practiced daily, creating a continuous flow of positive energy. It will be a center for the exchange of wisdom, sharing of experiences, and deepening one’s own spiritual journey.

We strive to build a global community united by a shared love of Agnihotra and the venerable cow. Our farm will be a welcoming place for visitors from all over the world, fostering cultural exchange and understanding.

Agnihotra Switzerland is distinguished by our unwavering commitment to authentic practices and our deep-rooted connection to nature. We believe in the power of ancient wisdom and the importance of preserving traditional practices to transform society and protect nature.
